Norma Julia, retired veterinary assistant and housewife, decided to try watercolor painting around 1990. It has been a rewarding second career with the help of many fine artists. Norma enjoys learning new techniques and sells originals at the Kona Arts Center orated at the Keauhou Shopping Center. Summers are spent paining in Maine where she is very involved with the Central Maine Art Gallery in Skowhegan. This great-grandmother paints a different Christmas card each year which isn’t revealed until she mails them to family and friends in early December.
